Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be in the fray to churn the areas involved in the second phase, when the voting for the first phase of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections is underway on Thursday. He will hold a joint public meeting of the surrounding seven assembly seats in Saharanpur, which will be virtual broadcast across the state.
Polling is to be held in the second phase in Saharanpur, where Modi-Yogi are reaching to create an atmosphere in favor of BJP candidates. State General Secretary Anoop Gupta informed that people, supporters and workers of Nakud, Behat, Saharanpur Nagar, Saharanpur Dehat, Deoband, Gangoh and Rampur Maniharan assembly constituencies of Saharanpur will participate in this direct rally. The rally will be held at Remount Depot Ground, Dehradun Road. The program will also be telecast on all internet media platforms. Workers and common people from all over the state will be connected to it. Candidates of all the assembly seats in the district will be present.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also address public meetings in Bijnor and Sambhal. After Saharanpur, he will hold a public meeting at Ramlila Maidan in Nagina, Bijnor at 1.50 pm and then at Babu Ram and Bhai Singh Degree College, Gunnaur in Sambhal district at 3 pm. Will address a public meeting at MS Degree College in Chandausi, Sambhal at 4 pm. At the same time, BJP State President Swatantradev Singh will be on stay in Badaun. Bilsi will interact with voters at JS Palace in the Vidhan Sabha at 11.40 am. At 1.10 pm, we will hold a meeting at Silhari Bazar on Wazirganj Road and at 3 pm in Guldiya of Sheikhupur Vidhan Sabha.
Let us inform that a total of 586 candidates are in the fray for 55 seats in the second phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Polling will be held in the second phase on February 14. In the second phase, nine districts are Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Amroha, Badaun, Bareilly and Shahjahanpur.
