Lucknow. Due to the infection of Corona in Uttar Pradesh, the Home Department has ordered the closure of schools and colleges till February 6. According to the order issued by Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi, all the schools and colleges in the state will remain closed till February 6. However, online classes will continue during this period. Earlier, the government had ordered the closure of educational institutions till January 30.
Due to the continuing infection of Corona virus in Uttar Pradesh, the government has directed all educational institutions to remain closed till February 6. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi has issued a mandate in this regard on Friday. In view of the increasing cases of corona infection, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after reviewing the situation, had directed the schools to be closed on January 5.
On the instructions of CM Yogi, the government had issued an order to close the schools till January 16. Educational institutions were again closed till 23 January as the outbreak of Kovid continued. After this, the government extended the period of closure of schools to 30 January. Now again all schools and colleges have been ordered to be closed till 6 February.
Let us inform that in the last 24 hours, 7907 new patients infected with corona have been found in UP. At the same time, 14993 patients have become healthy. Active cases have come down to 65263 due to more patients being healthy than new patients. On January 17, the state had the highest number of 1.06 lakh active cases in the third wave. That is, 41353 patients have decreased in 11 days. On the other hand, 14 patients have died due to corona infection. Now the infection rate in the state has come down to 4.3 percent.
