Lucknow. Assembly elections have been announced in Uttar Pradesh. All the political parties have also started announcing their candidates. In this episode, Apna Dal (S), an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has released the second list of its candidates on Thursday. The party has announced its three candidates. This includes Ghatampur in Kanpur Nagar, Kayamganj in Farrukhabad and Nanpara in Bahraich.
Apna Dal (S) state spokesperson Rajesh Patel said that the assembly candidates of Kanpur Nagar, Farrukhabad and Bahraich have been fielded. According to the released list of candidates, Saroj Kuril has been fielded from Ghatampur assembly seat of Kanpur Nagar. At the same time, Surbhi from Kayamganj assembly seat of Farrukhabad and Ram Niwas Verma from Nanpara assembly seat of Bahraich has been declared as candidate. Earlier Apna Dal (S) has fielded Hyder Ali Khan from Swar seat of Rampur. Haider Ali Khan is the candidate of NDA alliance against Abdullah Azam, son of SP leader and former minister Azam Khan.
Let us tell you that the Bharatiya Janata Party has tied up with Anupriya Patel’s party Apna Dal (S) and Sanjay Nishad’s party Nishad Party in Uttar Pradesh. Discussions have already taken place regarding the sharing of seats between the three parties. Apna Dal (S) National President Anupriya Patel is the Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry. In the last assembly election, Apna Dal (S) contested 11 seats in alliance with BJP and won nine seats. At the same time, Anupriya Patel’s husband Ashish Patel is MLC.
Let us inform that the dates for the 2022 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh have been announced. Voting will be held in seven phases for a total of 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The first phase of polling will be held on February 10. The first phase is starting from West UP. The second phase of polling will be held on February 14, the third phase on February 20, the fourth phase on February 23, the fifth phase on 27 February, the sixth phase on 3 March and the seventh and last phase on 7 March. Counting of votes will take place on March 10.
