Lucknow. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday released its first list of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The names of 150 candidates have been included in this list of AAP. The party has announced that it will contest all 403 seats alone. Earlier, the party had announced in-charges in the assembly constituencies. He was instructed to get a ticket for better work. Many of those names have been changed. There are only eight women in the first list of AAP candidates.
Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha member and UP in-charge, Sanjay Singh said in a press conference held in Lucknow that to sweep dirty politics, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the party’s central consent decided to field candidates on all 403 assembly seats in the state. has been taken. Out of these, the first list of 150 seats has been released. The eligible candidates whose names have been agreed upon by Kejriwal and the central leadership are 8 MBA, 38 post graduate, 4 doctor, 8 PhD, 7 engineer, 8 B.Ed, 39 graduate and 6 diploma holders. On the other hand, there are 55 OBCs, 31 Scheduled Castes, 14 Muslims, 6 Kayasthas and 36 Brahmins in terms of castes.
Let us inform that in Uttar Pradesh, the assembly elections are to be held in seven phases. On February 10, in the first phase, 58 seats in 11 districts of West Uttar Pradesh will go to polls, on February 14, the second phase will be held in 55 seats in 9 districts, and in the third phase on February 20, 59 seats in 16 districts will go to polls. In the fourth phase, polling will be held on February 23 in 60 seats in 9 districts including Lucknow. In the fifth phase, on February 27, 60 seats in 11 districts, in the sixth phase on March 3, 57 seats in 10 districts, and in the seventh and final phase, on March 7, 54 seats in 9 districts will go to polls. Counting of votes will take place on March 10.
