New Delhi. After the three-match Test series in South Africa, the Indian cricket team will play in the ODI series of so many matches. The Indian team for this series was announced on 31 December 2021. Now this team has been changed and it was decided to include two players. The selectors took this decision due to spin all-rounder Washington Sundar being out due to corona infection.
Two changes have been made in Team India for the ODI series to be played against South Africa. All-rounder Jayant Yadav and fast bowler Navdiv Saini have been included in the squad. Sundar has been ruled out of the entire series due to being found corona infected. His corona test was found positive before leaving for South Africa tour in Bangalore camp. Sundar was to leave for Cape Town along with the rest of the team on Wednesday 12 December for the South Africa tour.
The selectors have decided to send Navdeep Saini to South Africa in place of fast bowler Mohammad Siraj, who was injured during the Test series. Siraj was injured during the second test match played in Johannesburg. The selectors have announced Navdeep’s name in place of Jayant and Siraj as Sundar’s replacement. Jayant is currently in South Africa.
The Indian team has to play ODIs against South Africa on January 19, 21 and 23. The first two matches will be played in Pearl while the last match is to be played in Cape Town.
