Lakhimpur. In the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, the problems of all the 13 accused, including Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni, have increased. On Tuesday, the court approved the application of Inspector Vidyaram Diwakar, the investigator of the case, to increase the sections in the CJM Court. CJM Chintaram on Tuesday approved the plea of the investigator, removing the sections of death in the accident, allowing for murderous assault, causing grievous hurt and increasing the sections of the Arms Act. After this a case was registered under the relevant sections. Section 302 of murder has already been imposed on the accused.
Inspector Vidyaram Diwakar, in his application, said that the collection of evidence so far has proved that whatever happened on the day of violence was a well-planned and deep-rooted conspiracy. Therefore, in this incident, section 304A should be abolished and in its place, section 307 of murderous assault, section 326 of causing grievous hurt, possession and seizure of illegal arms, misuse of licensed weapon, and many other sections should be allowed to be increased. On this, the court had ordered all the 13 accused to appear in the court on Tuesday.
Stirring in the court since morning: At around 2.20 pm, all the 13 accused including Union Minister’s son Ashish Mishra were brought to the CJM’s court amid heavy security arrangements. The advocates of the accused opposed the application and said that in the case of Arms Act, it should be clear that on which accused the offense of Arms Act is proved. After hearing both the sides, CJM Chintaram gave permission to increase the streams.
