Lucknow. The STF has exposed the fraudulent gang in the name of getting recruited in the army. The gang used to collect money from people in the name of recruitment. According to ASP Satyasen Yadav in STF, on November 17, Narayan Singh, a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, complained to the STF headquarters. According to Narayan Singh, the gang had taken one lakh rupees in the name of getting his son Dharmendra admitted in the army.
During the investigation, STF nabbed Sarvesh Kumar and Hari Singh, residents of Firozabad, from near Manoj Pandey intersection on Thursday. During interrogation, Sarvesh told that on November 16, he had come to Lucknow center with Hari Singh and Harendra, where he met Narayan Singh.
Narayan told that he has brought the son to the center for recruitment. In the name of recruitment, the accused got Narayan transferred one lakh rupees to the account of his acquaintance Himanshu. The accused told that Himanshu does the work of recruitment on two percent commission. Sarvesh hails from Firozabad and was admitted to AMC Center Assam Rifle Dogra Regiment Center Ayodhya in the year 2005. Came home on leave in 2011 and did not go to work after falling ill.
When the army filed a case, he kept the duplicate copy with him before returning the identity card. Using the same identity card, he used to lure people. Apart from Narayan Singh, the accused had taken 25 thousand rupees from Swaroop Kumar Sawant, 50 thousand rupees from the government and 60 thousand rupees from Anand. Hari told that he works on the behest of Sarvesh. At the same time, Harendra Yadav told that he used to drive a truck in Delhi and was currently driving Sarvesh’s car.
