Lucknow: For the last 21 years, the property dispute between Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand was stuck, which has been resolved today by the Chief Ministers of both the states. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand chief Pushkar Singh Dhami met each other today and brainstormed to resolve the dispute. The talks between the two leaders lasted for about 30 minutes. After some discussion, both the CMs sat with the state officials. After this, Uttarakhand CM informed the media that the distribution dispute of 20 thousand crores between the two states, which has been going on for 21 years, has now been resolved. Let us tell you, there was an issue between the two states since the formation of the state.
UP and Uttarakhand will get their rightful land
While talking to the media, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that there is a relationship between UP-Uttarakhand like younger brothers. CM Yogi has very kindly given his consent to the settlement of disputes. Also, keeping in mind the realities of the ground, the decision has been taken. CM Dhami said that under the agreement, UP will get the entire land of its importance, which will also include housing. Uttarakhand will also get the right to those properties which should have come in its share.
90 crore to the forest department
At the same time, it is also being told that the Forest Department will also get Rs 90 crore from this agreement. Uttarakhand will also get Alkanand Hotel. It is worth mentioning that before meeting CM Yogi, CM Dhami offered prayers at Hanuman Setu temple in Lucknow.
