Bareilly. A PRV of UP-112 hit the boy near Labhari Mor of Hazratpur police station area of Usawan in Badaun, UP, injuring him. After this, the villagers created a ruckus alleging that the PRV personnel were drinking alcohol. When the Hazratpur police reached on the information, the medical treatment of all the three employees was found to be true. The information was given to the higher authorities. On this, SSP Dr. OP Singh started his investigation by spotting a soldier on the line.
Ayan, son of Shakeel Ahmed, a resident of village Labhari in Hazratpur police station area, was going somewhere with his maternal uncle. On the way, he was hit by a PRV of UP-112 near Labhari Hazratpur turn. As a result of which he was injured. After this PRV fled from the spot. The Hazratpur police, who reached the information, were informed about the matter, but still the PRV did not come to the spot.
After this the villagers called an ambulance and sent the injured child to the district hospital. During this, the relatives of the injured boy and the villagers started a ruckus. He alleged that the employees posted on the PRV have been drinking alcohol by standing at the turn since morning. The accident happened due to being intoxicated. Meanwhile, the same PRV again reached the spot.
On this, the three police personnel were stopped and taken for medical examination. Where alcohol was confirmed in one of them. This information was given to SSP Dr. OP Singh. He ordered an inquiry by showing the line to PRV driver Ranveer Singh.
