Kaushambi. When the thirteen year old girl woke up in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh, she was in a house in Etah district instead of her own house in Kaushambi. She could not understand how this could happen! There was a 40 year old man standing in front of her. This face was not unknown to the girl, he had been visiting her house many times to meet her parents.
The already shocked girl learns from him that her parents had sold her for five lakh rupees. He kept raping the girl for three days. Somehow she escaped from his clutches and reached Kaushambi, but her parents refused to accept her. Her aunt gave her shelter and after this the matter reached the police. After the case was registered, the accused parents are absconding, a person from the neighboring village also became a middleman in the bargaining of the teenager.
A man sold the elder daughter
This shameful incident is from Karari area. A couple living here sold their eldest daughter among their three children (one son and two daughters). In her complaint to the police, the victim said that Kamlesh Pasi, a resident of the neighboring village, often visited her house. Many times he would bring Karmveer Yadav of Etah district along with him. On March 14, 2025, both of them had come home. That evening, the parents gave her food.
After eating, she (the victim) started feeling dizzy and sleepy. When she woke up the next day, she found herself at Karmveer Yadav’s house. When the victim asked, Karmveer himself told her that he had bought her for five lakh rupees. It is alleged that Karmveer raped the teenager by keeping her in his house for three days. On the night of March 16, the teenager escaped after getting a chance.
Told the incident to her aunt
When she reached her aunt’s house in Manjhanpur area and told her the whole story, she was stunned. Earlier, when she went home, her relatives had refused to accept her. On Sunday evening, the victim reached the police station. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused Karmveer Yadav, the parents and the middleman Kamlesh Pasi and have started searching for the accused.
