Agra. With the increasing fog in the weather, the havoc of speed on Yamuna Expressway was seen in Mathura on Friday. The driver lost control of a speeding bus on the Yamuna Expressway in Nauhjheel police station area. The bus broke the railing and went to another road and hit the car fast. The driver of the bus along with four people in the car died on the spot while three of the six injured are extremely serious.
A horrific accident took place on Yamuna Expressway on Friday morning in Thana Nauhjheel area of Lord Krishna’s city Mathura. At 71 Milestone, an uncontrollable bus broke a divider and collided with a car on the other side. Four car occupants and the bus driver died. According to the police, the bus driver has had an accident due to sleep deprivation. Endeavor car is registered in Ghaziabad district. Shiv Sagar Yadav (26), his younger brother Nikki (22), mother Premlata (45), cousin Gaurav Yadav (24) and his friend Aryan (22) from Govindpuram, Ghaziabad were riding in the Endeavor car coming from Ghaziabad. Of these, Shiv Sagar, Premlata, Aryan and Gaurav died while Nikki is injured. Shivsagar’s father Ved Prakash is posted in the police in Ghaziabad. All the people were going to their village (Vaibhalpur village of Jhinka area of Kanpur rural district) for Govardhan Puja. The bus driver Balwant Singh, a resident of Pathankot in Punjab, also died in the accident. SP Dehat Srishchandra said that it was a private bus and there was no ride in the bus.
The empty bus was going from Noida to Agra on Friday morning. The bus went out of control near Milestone 71 in Nauhjheel area and broke the divider and reached the other. Meanwhile, a car heading towards Noida from Agra collided with a bus. SP Dehat Srishchand of Mathura said that the empty bus was going from Agra to Noida. The driver lost control of the bus due to drowsiness and reached the side of Agra from Noida and collided with the car and overturned. Four people aboard the car have died. The car occupants were coming from Ghaziabad.
The bus driver has been identified as Balwant Singh, a resident of Pathankot (Punjab). The occupants of the car have not been identified yet. After the accident, there was a traffic jam on one side of the Yamuna Expressway. The bus driver and four people in the car died on the spot in this accident. As soon as the information of the accident was received, Nauhjheel police station reached the spot. Police pulled out the people trapped in the car. The five bodies were then sent for postmortem.
