Lucknow. On behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh will be paid tribute on 31 August in the organizational 1918 divisions. BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh said that Kalyan Singh had a direct connection with the public and workers. Every person and worker saddened by his death wants to pay tribute to him. He told, “A big tribute meeting has been organized in Lucknow on August 31. At the same time, workers will pay tribute to their popular leader Kalyan Singh by organizing tribute meetings in 1918 organizational circles. Along with the Chief Minister, various organizational responsibilities and public life I worked for all sections including villages, poor, farmers, dalits, backwards and always remained connected with them. Party workers, leaders, office bearers as well as the general public are saddened by the demise of Babuji. In this there will be participation of party officials, leaders, public representatives, ministers, workers as well as the general public.
It is to be known that the ashes of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh were immersed in the Ganga at Narora on Friday. The administration, including the son and grandson of Kalyan Singh, was present during the bone immersion. The ashes of the Kalash were immersed in the Ganges by a steamer from the Ganga Aarti site located at Narora Ghat. The relatives kept the ashes kept in the remaining two urns with him. Taking the ashes of both the urns, the relatives left for the village of Madhauli in Atrauli area of Aligarh.
According to sources, after immersing the ashes of Narora, two urns are being taken to Ayodhya and Varanasi by Rath Yatra. A memorial of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh will be built at the funeral site at Basi Ghat in Narora. Bachha Park will be renamed as Kalyan Singh Park.
Former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh died on 21 August in Lucknow. He was cremated on 23 August at Basi Ghat in Narora. After Arishti, the ashes will also be immersed in Saryu in Ayodhya and Ganga in Kashi. Arrangements have also been made for the darshan of the ashes. On the other hand, all the veteran leaders including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are expected to gather in the Arishti program to be held in Atrauli on September 1.
