Lucknow. Late Kalyan Singh, one of the pioneers of Indian politics, is now on his last journey. Kalyan Singh, one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, passed away on Saturday at Sanjay Gandhi PGI, Lucknow. CM Yogi Adityanath has reached Aligarh from Lucknow with the body of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh. The body of Kalyan Singh will be cremated with state honors in Aligarh on Monday evening.
CM Yogi Adityanath reached Amausi airport with the body of Kalyan Singh from BJP office in Lucknow. There the Governor of Rajasthan, Kalraj Mishra paid homage to the late Kalyan Singh. On this occasion, Kalyan Singh’s MP son Rajveer Singh and his wife were also present. From here, the body of former CM Kalyan Singh reached the Dhanipur Mini Airport in Aligarh around 5 pm by air ambulance. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh were also present in the air ambulance.
The body of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh has been brought to Ahilyabai Hollar Stadium in Aligarh. A crowd of people gathered here for the last darshan. Many big leaders from the state to the center have also reached here. CM Yogi Adityanath and BJP state president have also come to Aligarh.
A large number of BJP MLAs, ministers and workers had gathered at the BJP state headquarters to pay their last respects to the mortal remains of Kalyan Singh, who was one of the veteran BJP leaders. Here the body of Kalyan Singh was wrapped in the flag of BJP along with the tricolor. Here his body was kept in the army vehicle. From where the car was sent to Amausi Airport in Lucknow. During this, people were shouting slogans all around, Kalyan Singh be immortal.
When the army vehicle carrying Kalyan Singh’s body came out of the party office, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also left behind with the fleet. Along with CM Yogi Adityanath, other BJP leaders took the body from here and left for Amausi airport. From where the body of former CM Kalyan Singh will be taken to Aligarh by air ambulance. Today his body will be kept in the stadium for public viewing in Aligarh.
Before this, leaders of opposition parties reached the Vidhan Bhavan in large numbers and veterans of opposition parties also reached the Vidhan Bhavan to pay the last respect to the mortal remains of the late Kalyan Singh, the two-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav was also among them. In the hall of Vidhan Bhavan, everyone was eager to get the last glimpse of their popular and popular leader. Party sentiment was also seen breaking down here. Along with Samajwadi Party, MLAs and leaders of Bahujan Samaj Party, Congress, Rashtriya Lok Dal and other parties paid tribute to Kalyan Singh. His body was kept at the official residence of his grandson and minister in Yogi Adityanath government, Sandeep Singh since night.
Earlier, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country’s Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh also reached Lucknow to visit the mortal remains of Kalyan Singh. He was accompanied by Brajesh Pathak, a cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath government. Rajnath Singh bowed to the mortal remains of Kalyan Singh.

Earlier, PM Narendra Modi paid tribute to CM and former governor Kalyan Singh after paying his last respect to the body. After the death of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers was held at 5 Kalidas Marg, the official residence of the Chief Minister at 11.30 pm.
