On this, Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi issued a mandate in this regard after consideration. Accordingly, on the following Saturday and Sunday. Earlier, in the mandate issued on August 11, the government had allowed activities only from Monday to Saturday. Corona curfew was kept in force on Sunday. The Chief Minister had also directed the Home Department to submit a detailed guide line. The Chief Minister also directed that the Kovid protocol should be followed at every place and in every case. There should not be unnecessary overcrowding anywhere and the police should patrol continuously.
It is to be known that from all the districts of Uttar Pradesh, through the trade boards, there was a constant demand that when all kinds of activities are being done six days a week, then why should restrictions be kept only for Sundays. However, government sources say that strict action will be taken for non-compliance of the Kovid guidelines.
