Lucknow. After effective control over the global pandemic corona virus infection in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government is gradually trying to normalize all activities. In this sequence, the government is now preparing to open educational institutions as well. It is believed that universities and degree colleges will be opened in the state after Independence Day.
Yogi Adityanath government has decided to open basic, secondary, higher, technical and vocational educational institutions in view of the improving situation of corona infection in the state. Under this, on Monday, a meeting was held at Lok Bhavan with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma, Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi and Team-9 officials, after which the decision has been taken to open all schools with half capacity from August 16.
Giving instructions, CM Yogi Adityanath said that keeping in view the controlled situation of corona infection, preparations should be made to start a new session in all educational institutions. The results of high school and intermediate of all the boards have been declared. In such a situation, the process of admission at the graduation level should be started from August 5. In secondary educational institutions also, the process of admission of students who have been promoted to the next class should also be started. The classes of these students should start from the date of Independence Day. On the day of Independence Day, events should be organized in association with “Amrit Mahotsav of Freedom”. Reading should start from 16th August with half capacity. In every case, preparations should be made to start studies in higher educational institutions from September 1.
The government has made preparations to start studies in schools and colleges that have been closed for about one and a half years due to corona infection. After controlling the second wave of corona in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while reviewing the situation in a meeting with the higher officials on Monday directed that the results of high school and intermediate of all the boards have been declared. Start their admission process at the graduation level from August 5. The recruitment process of students promoted in secondary educational institutions is also to start from this date and the Chief Minister has asked to start classes of all these from August 16. Apart from this, studies in higher educational institutions will be started from September 1.
CM Yogi Adityanath discussed about studies in universities and degree colleges in the state. After this, the process of starting offline teaching work was stamped. Preparations are being made to open secondary and higher educational institutions from September 1 with 50% attendance of students in the state from August 16. In a day, only 50 percent of the students can be taught in the campus of the institute and the remaining 50 percent can be taught by conducting online classes. Its guidelines will be issued soon by the government.
In every case, preparations should be made to start studies in higher educational institutions from September 1. He said that proper arrangement of sanitizers, infrared thermometers, masks etc. should be ensured in view of the commencement of studies/teaching in educational institutions. Arrangements should be made according to the requirement of distance of two yards. Strict adherence to the Kovid protocol should be done in every institute. With the opening of educational institutions, it would be appropriate to organize special vaccination camps for students above the age of 18 years. The Health Department should make all necessary preparations in advance in this regard. CM directed that cleanliness / sanitization should be done in council schools. The toilets should be clean. Keep the classrooms clean too. In coordination with the Basic Education Department, the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department should take necessary action in this regard.
Earlier on Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given instructions to prepare an action plan regarding starting the new session in view of the situation of Corona. In this sequence, in the review meeting on Monday, Team-09 was with its preparation. Yogi Adityanath said that the process of promoting students of all institutions from basic to higher education to the next class should also be completed soon. Now the Department of Basic Education, Secondary Education, Higher and Technical Education will prepare an action plan to start the new session soon. At present, online classes are going on in basic and secondary schools. Classes will be started from September 13 after completing the process of admission in undergraduate and postgraduate in universities and degree colleges. In such a situation, if the corona remains further under control, classes can be started in the campus.
