On this, the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath, taking a strong stand on the problems faced by the patients, said that if any patient died due to negligence, then strictest action would be taken against the concerned officer and employee.
In a meeting with the officials of Team-9, the CM said that every patient should be provided medical facilities promptly. If the ambulance is not received on time, then take strict action against the ambulance provider. Meanwhile, ambulance operator GVK EMRI has sacked 13 employees. Action has been taken against 11 office bearers of the union under the ESMA Act. Talks went on till late night to end the strike but the workers are still adamant.
ESMA Act imposed on 11 personnel, FIR in Ashiana police station
Action has been taken under the ESMA Act against 11 office bearers of the Ambulance Employees Union, who misled the employees for the ambulance strike. GVK has lodged an FIR in the Ashiana police station in this matter, as well as sacked many employees. Even after the registration of the case and the dismissal action, the ambulance workers are adamant on the strike. A meeting between GVK, District Administration and Health Department officials went on till late night, in which alternative arrangements were considered.
