Lucknow. The Commissionerate Police on Monday issued an order to attach assets worth Rs 2.5 billion of Gangster Act accused Azmat Ali and his son Iqbal, a former minister of state in the SP government. Under this order, several plots, semi-finished buildings and luxury vehicles including Career Institute of Medical Sciences, Career Dental College, Career Convent College located on IIM Road in Madianv will come under the purview of action. Work on colleges will not be affected, receivers have been appointed for there. Police is taking action to seize luxury vehicles like Audi, Fortuner, Innova.
ACP Aliganj Akhilesh Singh said that after the order of attachment was issued, a list of the properties of both was prepared. It has also been sent to the concerned department CMO, BSA for action. The attachment order has been served at Azmat’s house. The ACP said that Azmat had formed the Career Covent Educational and Charitable Trust 26 years ago in the year 1995. After this, Azmat occupied government lands. The career convent college was built between 1998 and 2000 with the earnings from here. In the year 2007, the building of the Career Institute of Medical Sciences was built along the National Highway.
Police declared property worth billions illegal
The ACP said that Ajmat, a resident of Ghaila of Madianv, was from a normal family. Azmat had initially worked with a person named Nishar Ali for Rs 1200 per month. But, later acquired properties illegally. His son Iqbal was also involved in this. The first case against Azmat was registered in the year 2000 at the Madianv police station for assault. After 10 years, a case of murderous assault was written. There are eight cases against Azmat in Madianv police station and three cases against son Iqbal.

– Career Institute of Medical Sciences, MBBS Boys Hostel, Career PG Institute of Dental Science, Nursing College, Stadium, Boys Hostel, BDS Girls & Boys Hostel, MBBS Girls Hostel, Nurse Hostel, Dr. Residence Hostel, Intern PG Girls Hostel, Rural Health Training Center Mutkipur, Career Convent College Campus Vikasnagar, Semi-constructed two-storey building
– Rs 77,35,530 deposited in the name of Azmat Ali and Iqbal and family and trust in Punjab National Bank Ghaila, Axis Bank IIM Road, SBI Nadan Mahal Road, ICICI Nadan Mahal Road
– Purchased luxury vehicles in the name of Azmat and Trust, including Qualis, Innova, Fortuner, Audi, Bus and other vehicles, which cost about Rs 11 crore.
