Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Thursday, July 15. He is going to give a gift of more than 1500 crores here. Before PM Modi’s visit, CM Yogi reached Varanasi on Tuesday and went to each venue and saw the arrangements himself. CM Yogi also reached Vishwanath temple and Annapurna temple and did darshan worship. However, there is no program to visit Vishwanath temple in PM Modi’s protocol at present.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s helicopter landed at BHU’s IT Ground at 12.45 pm on Tuesday. This is where PM Modi’s public meeting is to be held. During this, administrative officers and party officials also reached the spot to welcome them. After leaving the IT ground, the convoy of the Chief Minister reached the MCH wing. PM’s address and major inauguration and foundation laying is to be held at IT Ground. So the CM took stock of the venue here. After this, Rudraksh left for the convention center to see the preparations.
The Chief Minister’s convoy first reached the MCH wing where the PM would interact with the Corona warriors of the city. After this he left for Sigra and inspected the Rudraksh International Convention Center. During this, he took stock of the preparations and also gave necessary directions to the officials. From here CM Yogi first reached Vishwanath temple and then Annapurna temple.
PM Modi’s program continues
The final program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was released on Tuesday. According to the information released by PIB, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects at the Techno Ground of BHU IIT at 11 am. The PM will be officially welcomed at the BHU ground itself.
Rudraksh will inaugurate the International Convention Center at 12.20 pm. International Cooperation and Convention Center Sigra will inaugurate the center built in collaboration with Japan in Varanasi. This will be followed by an inspection of Maternal and Child Health Wing, BHU at 2 pm and interacting with the Corona warriors on COVID preparedness with officials and medical professionals.
These schemes will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid
75 major projects worth Rs 736.38 crore have been completed in the city. Rudraksh Convention Center at a cost of Rs 186 crore, non-residential building of 50 bed women’s hospital in Government Hospital Pandeypur campus at a cost of Rs 62.89 crore, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology at BHU at a cost of Rs 29.63 crore, 33.91 km Panchkosi Parikrama Marg at a cost of Rs 62.04 crore The work of widening and strengthening has been completed. The Ashapur overbridge on the three-lane Varanasi-Ghazipur road at a cost of Rs 50.17 crore is fully ready. The work of operation of cruise from Rajghat to Assi at a cost of Rs 20.25 crore and development and beautification of four parks and information boards on 84 ghats has been completed.
Construction of multi-level two wheeler parking at Godoulia Chowk at a cost of Rs 19.55 crore, development of Machodri Smart Senior Secondary School and Skill Development Center at a cost of Rs 14.21 crore, Ganga river to reduce the pressure on Assi Ghat and Rajghat and other ghats at a cost of Rs 11.95 crore. In addition to dredging and channelization work, a 100-bed MCH wing constructed at a cost of Rs 45.50 crore at Sir Sunderlal Chikitsalaya BHU has taken shape. The major works are 80 teacher residential flats constructed at a cost of 60.63 crore, APJ Abdul Kalam Multipurpose building completed under IUCTE building at a cost of Rs 17 crore in BHU.
