Prayagraj. The Allahabad HC has sought a roadmap for future preparations from the Uttar Pradesh government in view of the possibility of corona infection to last for many years. The High Court has asked that full information should be given about the government’s plan to deal with the challenges that will come in future due to Kovid-19.
Hearing a self-planned public interest litigation in the case of corona infection, a division bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Yadav and Justice Prakash Padia on Thursday said that the state government is discharging its duty. We do not want to interfere in policy matters.
Allahabad High Court said that we are not adopting any opposite view at present. The state government is being given more time to tell its action plan regarding the corona infection. During the hearing, some lawyers said that the reply should be sought from the state government within a stipulated time frame. Rapid vaccination is happening: Additional Advocate General Manish Goel informed the bench about the steps taken by the state government. Told that vaccination is being done rapidly. In urban and rural areas, people aged 18 to 44 and above 45 years are being vaccinated. Special centers have been set up. He also gave information about the health facilities being provided in the rural areas.
People not following the Kovid-19 protocol: The Allahabad High Court said that it is also the responsibility of the common people to follow the protocol of Kovid-19, but people are not wearing masks and following the physical distance standard properly. When the police take any action, people create ruckus on the internet media. The next hearing in the matter will be on July 8.
