Lucknow. After a long time, the UP government has approved eight new proposals in the cabinet meeting held at Lok Bhavan today. The eyes of the government are still on Ayodhya, the city of Ram.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, approval has been given for the construction of a bus stand in Ayodhya at a cost of 400 crores and a sewage treatment plant in Lucknow at a cost of 297 crores to keep the Gomti river clean. The green signal has also been given for the construction of a flyover of about one and a half kilometer in Ayodhya. A bus stand will be constructed in Ayodhya at a cost of 400 crores on PPP mode. Inter State Terminal A flyover of about one and a half kilometer will also be constructed to save people coming to this bus stand from jam. Sultanpur Marg in Ramnagari Ayodhya connects the new airport. A four-lane flyover has been constructed here to avoid traffic jams. To remove the land bottleneck for the bus stand to be built here, the Culture Department will give its nine acres of land to the Transport Department.
Two STPs will be constructed in Lucknow under the campaign to clean the Gomti river. 125 crore will be given by the state government to build 120 MLD STP on Haider Canal in Lucknow. The rest of the amount will be received from the Centre. Due to this, sewage will not be available in Gomti. Along with this, an STP will also be built near 1090 intersection. Along with Ayodhya, approval has been given to build a bus stand at Anupshahr in Bulandshahr.
Yogi Adityanath government’s focus is on promoting tourism. In view of this, an important decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting. Under which the development authorities have been given great authority. Now the authority will not have to take permission from anyone for working for the development of tourism. In the districts of Prayagraj, Agra, Banaras, etc., the authorities will be able to get tourism work done. Earlier, permission had to be taken from the government even for the repair or maintenance work of the development authority.
After the cabinet meeting, in the meeting of the Council of Ministers, there is talk about panchayat elections and the work of ministers during the Corona period. Ministers have been asked to visit the district under their charge and the districts under their assembly constituency. Apart from staying there for a day, they will also have to visit any CHC or PHC and report its condition to the government.
After about 8 months, the cabinet meeting held at Lok Bhavan was presided over by CM Yogi Adityanath. The meeting was attended by all cabinet ministers as well as ministers of state (independent charge) and ministers of state. Yogi Adityanath cabinet meeting started at 12:30 in the day at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow. Along with CM Yogi Adityanath, all the ministers reached Lok Bhavan after a long gap. In this meeting held on Monday, all the ministers sat face to face. This was the first meeting of the state cabinet after the second wave of the Kovid pandemic. During this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath brainstormed on the work of the government and future strategies along with the cabinet. During the Corona virus transition period, all the meetings of the Yogi Adityanath cabinet were either done through virtual medium or through cabinet by circulation, important proposals were approved. After the policy decisions in the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister gave necessary directions for implementation of the suggestions and instructions in the central leadership at the government level.
