Lucknow. During the coronary period, 108 ambulances run by the UP government have a lot of patients. 110 ambulances of 1102 of 108 and 137 of Advanced Life Support (ALS) have been deployed in Covid duty in the state. During the second wave, within three months these ambulances have transported more than two lakh people to the hospital. On an average, 204 patients had the responsibility of transporting them to the hospital on an ambulance.
According to information received from the state government, 108 more ALS ambulance services of the UP government have played a big role during the Corona crisis. In the three months since March 22, 1102 of 108 in UP and 137 ambulances of Advance Life Support (ALS) have been engaged in cavid duty. The 108 Ambulance Service has helped provide treatment to 224832 people. While 43206 people have been taken to hospital by ALS service. Of these, 32 ambulances of 108 deployed in Lucknow have provided immediate treatment to 25337 people since March. While 09 ambulances of ALS have been deployed in the capital and 2042 people have taken its services in three months.
Chief Minister Yogi had alerted both the ambulance services in the state to deal with the global epidemic. The effect of the vigilance taken by the government in the past is that both these services have proved to be lifelines for the suspected patients during the Corona period. In large numbers in rural and urban areas, with the help of these, patients are immediately taken to the nearest hospitals. The 108 has an oxygen facility and ALS also has oxygen and ventilators.
Significantly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who conquered the first wave of Corona with continuous monitoring and Kovid management, also took the challenges faced in the second wave of infection very seriously. Seeing the ever-increasing transition, he himself came to the frontline and has now succeeded in overcoming the second wave, landing the UP model of Tres, Tests and Treats.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi, 108 more ALS ambulances have been deployed in every district of the state. They are taking the infected patients to a quarantine ward created by the state government. Ambulances are equipped with all life-saving equipment for Kovid 19 patients. The entire team of ambulance services are following the government’s instructions to fight Corona. A 24-hour emergency medical technician (EMT) and pilot’s team of over 23 thousand people are working day and night in the ambulance.
The infected persons are availing the service by calling 108 toll free numbers. Ambulances deployed in the district are immediately dispatched through the 108 Emergency Response Centers at Lucknow and Agra. 275 people in Agra’s call center and a team of over 500 employees in Lucknow are working 24 hours a day and serving people daily.
