The appointment of Dr. Arun Kumar Dwivedi, brother of Dr. Satish Dwivedi, Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge) of Uttar Pradesh, as Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology in the Low Income Group (EWS) at Siddharth University has started to be questioned. The tenure of the vice-chancellor of the Siddharth University in which he was appointed was extended a day earlier. The minister is an MLA from Itwa seat in Siddharthnagar district. Dr. Arun was an assistant professor at Banasthali Vidyapeeth in Rajasthan, in such a situation, many posts are going viral on the internet media questioning his appointment in the EWS category. Now after the question arises, the vice-chancellor of Siddharth University has said that the appointment process is fair and that the inquiry should be conducted.
Siddharth University, Kapilvastu had sought applications for two posts of Associate Professor in the Faculty of Psychology. One post was reserved for backward and the other for low income group. Dr. Arish Kumar, the brother of Dr. Satish Dwivedi, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Basic Education and Minister of State (Independent Charge), Shanichara of Itwa Tehsil, applied in the EWS category, while he was an Assistant Professor at Vanasthali. He has also shown this in his Facebook profile. In such a situation, the appointment of Dr. Arun Kumar in the low income group is being questioned.
The minister said- Those who are suspected should get investigated: RTI activist Nutan Thakur has complained to the governor questioning his appointment. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party State Vice President and Spokesperson Engineer Emraan Latif has demanded a high-level inquiry, questioning the appointment. On the other hand, during an event in Sonbhadra, while clarifying the allegations, Minister Dr. Satish Dwivedi said that he has not interfered in the appointment process. Those in doubt can get them investigated.
Being told the certificate of 2019: Although Siddharth University has to be examined, but it is being told that the EWS certificate which is installed is from 2019. Lekhpal Chhotai Prasad earlier said that he did not give any report. Later told that in 2019, his income was less than eight lakh rupees. SDM Itwa Utkarsh Srivastava informed that EWS certificate has been issued from Tehsil. If any complaint is received, then a fresh investigation will be done.
Appointment process should be canceled in case of irregularities Surendra Dubey told that the appointment process started in 2019. His certificate is there only. The same certificate has been placed in the application form. The validity of the certificate has not been questioned so far. If a complaint is received, it will be investigated. In case of irregularities, the appointment process can also be canceled.
EWS with an income of less than eight lakhs: A certificate of low income group is issued to those with an annual family income of eight lakh rupees and agricultural land less than five acres. If the house is, then its area should be less than one thousand square feet. If there is a residence in an urban area, the area of the residential plot should be less than 100 square yards (900 sq ft).
