Two villagers died on the spot due to the bullet, while the third villager died on the way to hospital. Four other villagers have also been shot. Apart from this, many others have also been injured. Senior Superintendent of Police Senthil Avudai Krishnaraj S and SP Dehat Parmendra Dobal reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Police force has been deployed in the village in view of the tension.
According to the police, Hussain, a resident of Khedi Khurd village of Luxor Kotwali, was having a dispute with the Zulfikar side of the village itself. It was informed that on Thursday morning there was some dispute between the two sides regarding the motor irrigating the field. At that time, the matter became calm. After this, after the death of a woman in the family of Hussein Paksha, he went to the cemetery to bury all the women. When he was returning after burying the woman, then people from other sides sitting ambush on the way attacked him. The attackers fired at them.
It was told that six persons were shot. Many others were also injured. After this, the attackers escaped from the spot waving. On the information, CO Luxor Vivek Kumar, SSI Nitesh Sharma reached the spot along with the police force. Hussain Ahmed and Shahzan alias Kalu died on the spot. Anan Phanan injured were first brought to the hospital in Luxor, while Kaif was declared dead in the hospital by doctors. Other injured Tahir, Saif, Gayur, Rizwan were referred to Roorkee. SSP and SP reached the countryside and inquired about the incident. The SSP said that the matter of firing on mutual dispute has come to light. Instructions have been given for the early arrest of the accused.
