Dehradun. In the midst of the ongoing struggle for oxygen, the police are becoming angels and providing oxygen cylinders to the needy in the house. The Vasant Vihar police station late on Tuesday delivered oxygen cylinders and saved the lives of two infected persons, including the retired PCCF’s wife.
Inspector Devendra Chauhan, posted at Vasant Vihar police station in Dehradun, said that at around 1.15 pm, information was received that Corona, the wife of retired Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) living in Vasant Vihar Phase-1, was infected. Those who had oxygen cylinders and their oxygen is exhausted, they are having difficulty in breathing.
In such a situation, oxygen cylinders were quickly transported to them. Similarly, constable Nagendra Singh, posted at Vasant Vihar police station, got information at 2 pm that the oxygen label of a person isolated in the house in Kandoli Raipur has come between 75 and 80. Even after a lot of effort, they are not getting oxygen cylinders. In such a situation, the police contacted an oxygen supply agency and obtained a cylinder of oxygen and made it available to the needy.
At the Vasant Vihar police station, Kaushal Pandey informed that all the family members, including his father Casey Pandey, are isolated in the house due to corona being infected. His father has an oxygen cylinder due to difficulty in breathing. Whose flow meter is suddenly damaged, the oxygen supply is stopped. The technician was immediately sent to Kaushal Pandey’s house by contacting a shopkeeper supplying the flow meter from the police station.
