Azamgarh . The violence has started in Uttar Pradesh before the Panchayat elections due from April 15. On Monday night, the candidate of the panchayat election in Usahar Sonhara village of Barhad police circle of Azamgarh district has been beaten to death with sticks and sticks. Police has registered a case against 8 people, including the current village head. According to reports, Anil Yadav used to work in a textile factory in Ahmedabad, having returned to his village a week earlier to contest the panchayat elections. After playing Holi on Monday, there was a dispute between him and the village headman and he went to meet him. There he was attacked with sticks and sticks. Anil was taken to the Primary Health Center where the doctor declared him dead.
A senior police officer said the body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is on. Also, in view of the tension in the village, additional force has been deployed.
