Bageshwar: In Garuda area of Gageshwar district, a young man killed his cousin of his relationship due to business envy. The police have arrested the accused. On the trail of the accused, the Baijnath police recovered the mutilated dead body of the deceased Rashid from the forest of Ana-Loharchoura and sent it to the district hospital for PM.
On Monday, Superintendent of Police Amit Srivastava disclosed a case of sensational Rashid murder in Baijnath police station. In this case, on February 26, the deceased Rashid’s father Mohammad Navi had lodged a missing report at the Baijnath police station. He had raised suspicion of killing his son Rashid at the age of 23, a Danish son Mehndi Hassan resident. When police questioned Danish under the leadership of Police Station Pankaj Joshi, he blamed the truth. Occupational rivalry led to his murder.
Police said that on February 18, the accused Danish Rashid son Muhammad Navi resident Bahedi, age 22, took him by bike with him to the forest of Ana-Loharchoura. Seeing a chance in solitude, he hit him with a stick in his head and killed him. To erase identity, he burned Rashid’s face and pressed the body into a ditch with stones. On reaching home, Rashid’s family asked Danish about him, then he avoided the matter and kept talking about moving to Delhi, Mumbai. The family searched a lot, but they did not find Rashid anywhere. Then they started suspecting Danish itself. Then they lodged a report with the police.
The accused Danish used to do tile work in Garuda for the last eight years. As his work progressed, he invited his brother Rashid to work with him a year and a half ago. While working, Rashid gained a good reputation and his work started growing. Danish was lagging behind in work. Due to this, Danish now started keeping commercial rivalry with Rashid. He planned to stab her and on February 18, he executed the murder.
On the trail of Baijnath’s accused Danish, the police reached the forest of Ana-Loharchoura and recovered the mutilated corpse of Rashid. SP Amit Srivastava said that the material used in the murder has also been recovered. A case under section 302,201 has been filed against the alleged Danish. He will be produced in court on Tuesday.
