New Delhi. Farmers’ organizations have announced to intensify the movement against three new agricultural laws. The United Kisan Morcha (SKM), which has been spearheading the farmers’ movement for the last 80 days on the borders of Delhi, announced on Wednesday that the rail roko campaign will be carried out on 18 February. The United Kisan Morcha said that the rail roko campaign will run across the country from 12 noon to 4 pm on February 18.
On 18 February, the train wheel will stop for a while across the country. In fact, against the three agricultural laws of the central government, thousands of farmers, who have been sitting on various borders in Delhi for more than two months, have made a big plan to intensify the movement. Farmer leaders have announced a 4-hour roll-out campaign against the bill on February 18 across the country.
In its statement, the United Kisan Morcha said that the rail roko campaign will run across the country from 12 noon to 4 pm on February 18. Apart from this, the farmers leaders have announced that from February 12, all the toll plazas of Rajasthan will be made farmers free. Toll collection will not be allowed. He jammed the wheel for three hours earlier this month, demanding the repeal of three agricultural laws.
Candle March on the anniversary of Pulwama attack on 14 February
United Kisan Morcha said that on 14 February Pulwama anniversary, candle march and torch rally will be organized for jawans and farmers. Farmer leaders further informed that on February 16, farmers will perform a Solidarity Show on the birth anniversary of Sir Chhotu Ram.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused some opposition parties, including Congress, of spreading lies and rumors about three new agricultural laws. He said, this law is not a bond for anyone but an alternative, there is no reason for protest.
The Prime Minister appealed to the farmers who are protesting, let’s sit at the table and discuss and find a solution. He also said that the peasant movement is sacred, but the agitators, not the agitators, have done the job of ruining the peasant agitation. We need to differentiate between agitators and agitators.
