Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kolkata on January 23 to address the ‘Parakram Divas’ function to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Sources said that the Prime Minister will preside over the inauguration ceremony of ‘Parakram Divas’ held at the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata.
Modi will inaugurate a permanent exhibition and a projection mapping show on Netaji on the occasion. A cultural program based on Netaji’s theme ‘Amra Nutan Jibneri’ will also be held on that day.
The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address a meeting in Kolkata.

Sources said that after attending the event in Kolkata, the Prime Minister will also visit the Jerenga Plateau in Sivasagar, Assam, where he will distribute 1.06 lakh land pattas.
