Lucknow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make digital transfer of Rs 2,690 crore in the bank accounts of 6.1 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. PM Modi shared this information by tweeting that ‘today is important day for rural siblings of Uttar Pradesh. Through video conferencing at 12 noon, I will release the assistance amount for lakhs of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural. This will be a major step towards the goal of giving home to all. ‘
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will join the virtual medium in the digital transfer program of the assistance amount for the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural. Under the year 2020-21 on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the first installment of housing construction will be transferred to 5.3 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and second installment to 80 thousand beneficiaries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also interact with the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural of Ayodhya, Varanasi, Balrampur, Bahraich and Chitrakoot. Uttar Pradesh was given the highest number of nine National Awards by the Ministry of Rural Development in the last financial year for outstanding work in this scheme.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an online transfer of Rs 2691 crore in the accounts of 6.10 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin.
