new Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been elected the new chairman of the Shri Somnath Trust. He has been unanimously selected for the vacant post of Keshubhai Patel. Prime Minister Modi attended the meeting of Shri Somnath Trust through video conferencing. All the trustees paying tribute to the trust’s former chairman Keshubhai Patel unanimously elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the new chairman of the trust.
Prime Minister Modi appreciated the efforts of the Somnath Trust team while assuming responsibility. He hoped that the facilities of the devotees, including the basic resources of the Somnath Temple Trust, would develop rapidly. The Trust’s activities were reviewed during the meeting.
In the past, many prominent personalities have been chairman of this trust. Former Prime Minister Morarji Desai, Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi have also been the trust’s chairman.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed happiness over Prime Minister Modi becoming the President of Somnath Temple Trust. He said, “I heartily congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the President of the Somnath Temple Trust. Modi ji’s dedication to the development of Somnath shrine area has been amazing. I am confident that the trust headed by Prime Minister Modi, Somnath Temple’s Will increase dignity and grandeur. “
