Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off eight special trains to Kevadia, flagging off eight places from every corner of the country including the national capital Delhi, the financial capital Mumbai and the religious city Varanasi. In this way, Kevadia village located near Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat has been connected by rail from all over the country. Near this village is the Statue of Unity, the statue of the great freedom fighter iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
These trains for Kevadia have left from Varanasi, Dadar, Ahmedabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Rewa, Chennai and Pratapnagar.
