Patna. Police are still trying to find clues about the murder of Rupesh Kumar Singh, the station manager of Indigo Airlines Company at Patna Airport, while the opposition is once again taking on the ruling party over law and order in Bihar. Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Yadav has even demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that only criminals are running the government in Bihar.
Tejashwi Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, tweeted on Wednesday from his official Twitter handle, writing, “Power-protected criminals shot and killed airport manager Rupesh Kumar Singh outside his residence in Patna.” He was affable and friendly. I am deeply saddened by his untimely death. May his soul rest in peace.
He said that only criminals are running the government in Bihar. Yadav did not stop here. He further wrote, “Increasing the number of crimes and misdeeds daily under the patronage of unethical and illegal government is a collective failure of the NDA”. Nitish ji’s attempt to hide the crimes and not accept them is the biggest crime and the panacea for criminals. Bihar is not able to handle them, they resign immediately.
Here, Jan Adhikar Party chief and former MP Pappu Yadav demanded that the murder be investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation, saying that the BJP, JDU government is under the scanner of criminals.
He said that the murder of Indigo Airlines officer Rupesh Singh, 1 km from the Chief Minister’s residence, next to the Police Headquarters and the Secretariat, is clear that the BJP and JDU government are under arrest. It should not stay in power for one minute. The Chief Minister should immediately order a CBI inquiry into the murder.
Meanwhile, the Congress has also raised questions about the law and order of the state.
Here, the JDU has come to the rescue of the government. JDU spokesman Sanjay Singh said the killing of Rupesh Singh was painful. Patna Police is capable of arresting criminals. He said whoever the culprit is, he will be arrested.
Rupesh Kumar Singh, station manager of Indigo Airlines Company, was shot dead by criminals on Tuesday night in Shastri Nagar police station area of Patna. The police have formed an investigation team to nab the killer. The hands of the police are still empty regarding this massacre.
