Lucknow. Proposals for heavy industrial investment have come from industrialists of Uttar Pradesh origin living in America. The industrialists have expressed their willingness to work with the government, justifying the present UP climate as investment friendly. Investors appreciated the policies of the government in a dialogue with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Investment and Tourism program organized under the banner of Uttar Pradesh Association of North America (Upana). He informed the Chief Minister about his investment proposals.
In this virtual program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence, CM Yogi Adityanath said that nature and God have been infinitely compassionate in the state. Encouraging investors to build the divine-grand Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said that the Uttar Pradesh government is working on a plan to develop Ayodhya as the most beautiful city in the world.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the state government is constructing Bundelkhand, Purvanchal, Gorakhpur link, and Ganga Expressway. This expressway will accelerate the pace of development. There are also plans to develop industrial clusters and townships along their banks. This is a good opportunity for the private sector.
He said that for the expansion of healthcare facilities, medical colleges are being established in all 75 districts of the state. There were 12 medical colleges in the state till 2017. Construction of 30 new medical colleges is going on in just three years. However, there are 16 such districts where there are no private or government-run medical colleges. For this, the government will soon introduce a new policy.
Rakesh Aggarwal, founder and trustee of Upana said that his organization is keen to participate in the overall and sustainable development of Uttar Pradesh. Many entrepreneurs who are originally from UP and live in America today, want to invest in UP. Rakesh Shrotia, the founder of the pharmaceutical company, praised the working of CM and proposed to set up pharmaceutical company and cancer hospital in UP. Investors have proposed thousands of crores of rupees to the state government.
