Sydney. Indian team batsman Lokesh Rahul has made it to the top-3 in the ICC’s newly released T20 rankings. At the same time, Indian captain Virat Kohli gained one place. The change comes after a three-match T20 series played with Australia recently.
Rahul had scored a half-century in the first T20 match. He has replaced Australia captain Aaron Finch in third place. Rahul scored 30 and 0 in the last two matches.
Kohli, who scored 85 runs in the final T20 match, has gained one place. He has now reached eighth position.
England’s David Malan, however, occupies the number-1 position. 44 points behind them is Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
Among bowlers, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan holds the first place in the rankings. In second place is his teammate Mujib ur Rehman. England leg-spinner Adil Rashid has moved up one place to number three. No batsman is in the top-10 in the bowlers’ rankings.
