new Delhi. Pakistan-based banned terrorist organization Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JUD) is using a gaming application to brainwash children and youth to promote jihad against India. The terrorist organization is taking such steps by claiming to profess the teachings of Prophet Mohammed and educate the youth through apps.
The JUD is associated with the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). “Lashkar-e-Taiba has conspired to spread jihad in India through JUD’s gaming apps,” a source said.
The 26/11 terror attack mastermind in India, Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed, has opened offices in 45 places in Pakistan. “The youth are made aware of the games and are allowed to use the computers installed in these centers,” the source said.
JUD has sought help from computer programmers to develop games and mobile phone apps. The first clues about JUD’s such plans to develop games and apps surfaced in 2018 in the form of some tweets made on the micro-blogging site Twitter from JUD Official’s account.
The terror group then stated that they were planning to develop games and apps, apparently inspired by the teachings of Prophet Mohammed.
In recent months, JUD has pushed forward the use of social media, including Twitter and Facebook, to raise and disseminate funds aimed at spreading unrest in India.
With thousands of fake propaganda material against India and conspiracy to spread riots in the country, the social media team of JUD spread hatred against India through the hashtag.
Saeed’s social media team is also known as the ‘JUD Cyber Team’.
In the context of violence in Delhi this year, a cyber cell of JUD shared a large number of offensive posts against India on Twitter and Facebook.
Through various hashtags, several posts were shared under false news of atrocities on Muslims in India.
Indian agencies claimed that Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) played a major role with JUD to advance the Gulf countries against India.
The UN Security Council has imposed sanctions on Jamaat-ud-Dawa and declared four of its top leaders as terrorists, including JUD chief Hafiz Saeed and Mumbai attack mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.
