Shamli (UP). During the lockdown, a case has been registered against 13 people having a birthday party inside the shop at night, including eight women. When the police raided here on Tuesday night when the loud sound of music came from a shop on the second floor of Kanika Place, it was found that the birthday party was going on in the shop.
According to a police source, the organizers did not seek permission to hold the Naa Party nor were the guests wearing masks. People who came to the party were not even following social distancing.
Sources said that despite the insistence of the people around them, when the people doing the party did not reduce the sound of music, they informed the police. Sources said a 42-year-old woman and her two sons were also among these people.
According to the police, all these people were booked for violating the rules of social distancing and under the Pandemic Act.
Shamli Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar said, “A team from the Kotwali police station rushed to the spot after receiving the information. It also included a woman constable. A case was registered against 13 people under various sections. Further investigation is on and her Action will be taken accordingly. “
