Recently, in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, 250 grams of potatoes were reported stolen on Dial-112. Now another similar case has come to light. In the Sandi police station area of the district, a handicapped shopkeeper called Dial-112 after not receiving the 10 rupees he had borrowed for one and a half years. As soon as the complaint was received, the police reached the spot. The police got the shopkeeper back the 10 rupees borrowed from the customer. This case remains in discussion.
The video of the case is going viral on social media. In the video, the police is interrogating both of them. The handicapped shopkeeper is seen complaining to the police about the customer. In the video, the customer is seen saying that he has paid the amount of the loan before the police arrived. A crowd of people gathered in the village when the police vehicle arrived. The villagers were also surprised to know the matter.
Took a packet of 10 rupees on credit
The case is from Bhandari village of Sandi police station area. Here, handicapped Jitendra runs a grocery shop in the village itself. He also sells gutkha and tobacco at his shop. He alleges that Sanjay from the same village had borrowed a packet (gutkha) worth Rs. 10 from him one and a half years ago. Meanwhile, Jitendra asked him for his loan amount of Rs. 10 several times but Sanjay did not pay him. There were many disputes between them regarding this. Jitendra says that after the loan, Sanjay stopped taking goods from his shop.
Called on Dial-112
On Saturday, Jitendra again asked for his loan amount. Sanjay refused to pay as before. Tired of this, Jitendra called on Dial 112 and complained to the police. Police reached the spot as soon as they heard the complaint of the victim. There was a commotion as soon as the police arrived in the village. Police called the complainant shopkeeper Jitendra and the accused Sanjay. Information about the case was taken from both of them. Shopkeeper Jitendra told that Sanjay had borrowed a packet worth Rs. 10 from him one and a half years ago. He was not paying the money. Before the police arrived, Sanjay returned Jitendra’s loan amount.
SP said, reconciliation was done between the two
Hardoi Superintendent of Police Martand Singh said that this video is from Bhandari village of Sandi police station area of the district. The victim had lodged a complaint about the customer not paying back the loan amount of Rs 10. He was asking for his money for a long time. But the customer was not giving him the money. Fed up with this, he sought help from Dial 112 police. The PRB team that reached the spot got the victim’s money back from the customer. Now the dispute between the two people is over. He said that Dial 112 police reached the spot and made a reconciliation agreement.
