We have to remain alert 24 hours a day
The Chief Minister said that in the coming days there are festivals of Independence Day, Nag Panchami, Shravan Monday, anniversary of Kakori train action, Raksha Bandhan, Chehalum and Janmashtami. In view of these, the police and local administration will have to remain alert 24 hours a day regarding law and order. He said that women’s safety is the top priority of the government. On August 19, there is the festival of Shravan Purnima (Raksha Bandhan). Therefore, increase police patrolling. Keep an eye on anarchic elements.
Keep a close eye on social media
The Chief Minister said that internet media is becoming a medium for rumour mongers. Therefore, keep a close watch on social media. Action should be taken against those who distort facts and spread information that creates animosity in the society. Also instructed the officials to refute fake news with facts.
Inspect the examination centers
The Chief Minister said that the police recruitment examination is to be held on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August. It is everyone’s responsibility to conduct this examination peacefully and safely with complete purity. Be fully alert and senior officers should inspect every examination center in their area.
Measures are being taken at the government level to ensure the purity of the examination. Strictly follow the instructions related to this. A large number of candidates will travel during the examination, so that there is no inconvenience in movement, its management should be done in time. Special attention should be paid to the convenience and safety of female candidates.
