A painful incident came to light in Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad. Here the police have arrested the 20-year-old grandson of a 60-year-old woman on charges of murder. You will also be surprised to know the reason for the murder. The accused got so addicted to online Ludo and Teen Patti games that he killed his own grandmother.
After killing, he stole the earrings
The incident was revealed when on June 28, uncle Ashok Kumar lodged a report in the police station. According to the report, an unknown person attacked his mother and killed her and looted her earrings, nose ring and some money kept in the temple. The police immediately took action and started investigating the incident and with the help of CCTV footage and informers, arrested the accused grandson Vinod. During interrogation, Vinod told that he had lost a lot of money due to his addiction to online games and was in financial crisis. When he did not get the money, he got angry and killed his grandmother Harpyari.
Grandmother refused to give money
Vinod confessed that on the day of the incident, he had asked for money from his grandmother, but grandmother refused to give it. In anger, he attacked his grandmother and killed her. Later, he took her earrings and Rs 2000 kept near the temple and fled. Police arrested Vinod from the side of Hindon Bridge, Ghaziabad-Sahibabad Main Road and recovered the deceased’s earrings from him.
