The BJP is once again going to occupy the Kannauj seat, which is called Dimple City. BJP candidate Aseem Arun is in the fray from this seat. Asim Arun has got 120219 votes so far. SP candidate Anil Dohra, who came second, got 114056 votes. According to sources, Asim Arun has won from this seat. However, the official announcement is yet to be made. From the first round itself, there was a tough fight between BJP and SP on this seat. In the beginning, the BJP came ahead, but after a few rounds, the BJP candidates left behind and the SP candidates went ahead. By the end of the counting of votes, once again the BJP candidate took the lead and moved towards victory.
At the same time, 14 rounds have been completed in Chhibramau seat of the district, where BJP candidate is seen leading by 4702 votes. SP has got 40639 votes here while BJP has to be satisfied with 45341 votes. In the 10 rounds of Tirwa, SP seems to be leading by 2116 votes. However, the counting of votes is still on. This time who will go to the assembly from Kannauj, will be decided by evening. Let us tell you that Kannauj, which is called Dimple City, has also been transformed into a hot city this time. Kanpur Commissioner Aseem Arun is contesting from this seat on a BJP ticket after quitting his job. Due to this, the eyes of the people are now fixed on the election results of this seat.
Under the assembly elections, votes were cast on February 20 under the third phase in all the three assembly seats of their district. The result of the vote cast on that day will now come by 10 March i.e. this evening. As per the already decided schedule, the counting of votes will start at the scheduled time on Thursday. Ballot votes will be counted first. After that the votes will be counted one by one at all the designated tables. The first trend will come at 9 am. By 12 noon, the trend will come to a great extent. By two o’clock the picture of the edge will be available. By 4 o’clock the full result will come. Final touch has been given to the administrative preparations for the counting of votes.
