Lucknow. The UP government has taken an important decision regarding the education of high school and intermediate students affected by Corona. CM Yogi Adityanath has directed that this time the upcoming result of these classes will be released without merit.
CM Yogi held a meeting of Kovid management through virtual medium from his official residence on Sunday. With instructions to continue the policy of Trace, Test and Treat, CM Yogi said that the Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) should set the guidelines regarding preparation of results of high school and intermediate examinations and prepare the results soon.
CM Yogi said that due to corona infection, this time the tenth and twelfth examinations could not be held, so the merit list of the results should not be prepared. Apart from this, the Department of Technical Education should conduct online examination. Along with this, the Higher Education Department was also directed to take the decision to promote the students at the earliest.
Let us inform that due to Corona epidemic, UP Board’s High School and Intermediate examinations have also been canceled. Students of class 12th will also be promoted. This important decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently.
This is the first time in the 100-year history of the UP Board, that the High School and Intermediate examinations have been cancelled. Students will be promoted to the next class without giving the exam. 26.1 lakh intermediate students and 29.4 lakh high school students will be promoted. In this way, a total of more than 56 lakh students of the state will be benefited by this. On the lines of CBSE board, UP board has also given great relief to the students.
