Let me tell you that this is the ninth round of talks of farmer leaders with the government. Despite the initiative of the Supreme Court to resolve the issue of new agricultural laws, the central government will continue to hold talks with the farmers leaders.
Eight rounds of talks between the farmer leaders with the government on this issue have been inconclusive. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the implementation of these laws after hearing various petitions filed for new agricultural laws and farmers’ agitation and the apex court constituted a committee of experts to resolve the issue in which four Members are nominated. However, a member of the committee, BKU leader Bhupinder Singh Mann, has announced to separate himself from the committee.
