Lucknow. Retired IAS officer Arvind Sharma of Uttar Pradesh joined BJP on Thursday. BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh got him membership of the party. He is said to be close to Prime Minister Modi. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma, State General Minister JPS Rathore, Govind Shukla, Cabinet Minister Dara Singh Chauhan were also present. Arvind Kumar is originally a resident of Mau district of UP.
Sharma thanked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his absence and said that he belongs to a backward village in Mau district. He has come into politics to serve nationalism and party. They will accept the responsibility assigned to the party.
He said, for an ordinary person like me who has no political background, only the BJP can give it such a big place. He said that I thank the Prime Minister. I will try to live up to the expectations of the Prime Minister and the BJP. Instead of answering other questions, Sharma left with folded hands.
He has worked in Gujarat and PMO with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for 20 years. He has taken VRS for two years before serving the IAS.
Arvind Sharma is counted among the selected officers of the Government of India. Keeping a low profile, he has been in discussion for the best work in PMO and then MSME.
1998 Gujarat cadre IAS officer Arvind Kumar Sharma is considered very close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharma, who takes voluntary retirement even after remaining a two-year job, is considered a hard-working officer with a broad outlook. He has a long experience of working with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat as well as in the PM Office, Delhi. He hails from a very backward area in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh.
There is a discussion in political circles that the BJP can make Arvind Kumar Sharma a member of the Legislative Council from UP. Out of the 12 seats in the Legislative Council, BJP’s ten occupation is considered absolutely fixed.
