London. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has quarantined himself after coming in contact with a man found to be Kovid-19 positive. A spokesman for Downing Street gave this information in a statement on Sunday. The spokesman said that “the Prime Minister is fine and has no symptoms of Kovid-19. He will continue to operate from Downing Street, including leading the government’s fight against the coronavirus epidemic.”
According to the news agency, Johnson had a meeting on Thursday morning at 10 Downing Street with some MPs, including Acefield MP Lee Anderson, who later came to Corona test positive. Earlier in late March, Prime Minister Corona was infected and he recovered from the disease after spending 3 days in intensive care in early April.
England are currently in a month-long nationwide lockdown until 2 December. According to official figures, the total number of cases has risen to 13,69,318 and the number of deaths has reached 51,934 since 24,962 new cases were reported in Britain on Sunday.
