Auckland | New Zealand will begin their domestic cricket season with the T20 series with the West Indies later this month. Meanwhile, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has assured that it has a backup plan to change the field if Corona cases rise at the venue. New Zealand has to host the West Indies, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia (male and female) and women’s cricket teams this summer.
NZC said in a report on its website, “New Zealand cricket has backup plans to change the venue if matches are to take place somewhere and Corona cases increase around that venue. The matches are still without an audience Will be played. ”
New Zealand have to host the West Indies for the three T20 and two-match Test series. After this, he has to play three T20 and two Tests with Pakistan, five T20s with Australia and three ODIs and three T20 matches with Bangladesh.
The West Indies men’s cricket team is currently in New Zealand and some of its members violated the isolation rules. After this, New Zealand refused to allow the Windies to train and has now tightened the Quarantine rules.
