Patna. In the second phase of Bihar Legislative Elections 2020, the four ministers of Nitish’s cabinet have closed the election future in the EVM. These are Road Construction Minister Nandkishore Yadav, Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, Cooperation Minister Rana Randhir and Social Welfare Minister Ramsevak Singh. Shravan and Ramsevak belong to JDU. If we talk about the 2015 elections, the victory of two of these ministers was very difficult. Reason: BJP and JDU were contesting in each other’s rival alliance. These ministers can get relief due to JDU joining NDA.
Nand Kishore fighting for the sixth time
Road Construction Minister Nandkishore Yadav is contesting for the sixth time from Patna Sahib as a BJP candidate. The last assembly election was very challenging for him. The vote gap was around three thousand. He hopes to help with the support of JDU. JDU was last included in the grand alliance. Due to this, there was a lot of trouble.
Shravan Kumar competes with Congress
Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, who is contesting on a JDU ticket from Nalanda, has won five times in a row. In the 2015 election, he was given a tough challenge from BJP candidate Kaushalendra Kumar, the constituent of NDA. He was voted 72, 596 and BJP candidate 69600. Obviously, due to the support of BJP, they can feel relief in this election. The seat of Nalanda in the Grand Alliance is in the account of the Congress.
Randhir is handling the legacy
Cooperative Minister Rana Randhir has inherited the seat of Madhuban. His father Late Sitaram Singh was an MLA four times. Randhir won on the RJD ticket in the February 2005 election. However, he lost the October election. The second victory was in 2015 as a BJP candidate with a margin of around 30,000 votes. At that time, JDU candidates were second. BJP has got JDU’s support in this election.
The first MLA of Hathua is
Social welfare minister Ramsevak Singh is contesting from Hathua. This area was created in 2010. He was elected its first MLA. In the first election, he faced Rajesh Kumar of RJD.
