Kolkata . BJP national president JP Nadda will visit Siliguri in North Bengal on 19 October and review various aspects of the organization before the Assembly elections to be held in 2021. This information was given by party sources. According to Dilip Ghosh, BJP president of the West Bengal unit, Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit to North Bengal has been postponed for some time.
“Our party president JP Nadda will visit Siliguri on October 19 and hold organizational meetings there,” Ghosh told reporters here. According to sources, Nadda as well as senior party leaders like National Secretary General Kailash Vijayvargiya, Vice Presidents Mukul Roy and Ghosh will communicate with Booth and District Level Heads. It is notable that there are 54 assembly seats in the area and there are about 300 polling stations in each of the eight districts.
