Patna. Former Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday. After this, the speculation of his going to JDU has intensified. However, Pandey is not speaking openly on this matter. Former DGP Pandey reached the JDU office in the afternoon and met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Talking to reporters, Pandey, who came out of office after meeting the Chief Minister, said, “I am an independent citizen.” I can meet anyone anytime. I have met Nitish ji today. On the decision to join the JDU membership, he said that there was no talk about this matter. When asked about contesting elections, he said that there was no talk about politics with the Chief Minister. Came to thank them.

Here, JDU sources say that Pandey is set to join JDU. Sources claim that Chief Minister Nitish has assured him a Buxar assembly ticket, although no JDU leader is confirming this.
