Bengaluru Forward Lalit Upadhyay of the Indian men’s hockey team has praised the Belgian team’s great performance against Germany in the FIH Pro League. Belgium won the match 6–1 over Germany. Lalit, who is taking part in the ongoing practice camp at the Sai Center, said, “We were all excited for the start of the FIH Hockey Pro League matches. The veteran forward said that the Indian team is currently working towards achieving its earlier form and fitness has been a top priority in the current camp.

The Indian forward added, “We know that Hockey India and the coaching staff have made a plan for us to restart competitive hockey. We hope that we can get into good form before that.
