Major consignment of drugs recovered in Meerut

Meerut A large consignment of 200 kg of cannabis, 30 kg of ganja and four kg of hash has been recovered from rented house in Lalkurti area of ​​Meerut. This information was given by the police on Monday. According to the police, four laborers have been arrested from the spot. The drugs seized were for retail distribution in Meerut and other neighboring districts.

Zip-locked plastic bags used to contain small quantities of drugs, more than 50 kg of packaging material and eight portable weighing machines were also recovered from the house.

Meerut Additional Superintendent of Police Iraj Raza said, “The two key men behind the local drug ring, Satyendra Singh and Raju Chauhan, are absconding and efforts are on to arrest them.”
